. . . I insisted I wanted the Michelin N1's no matter what it arrived with and they were more than happy to make it happen. I've found them far superior in all scenarios over all other brands I've tried and will never go back. Tyres are a personal thing obviously but there was no way I was going to ride around on something else for the first 8000 miles after spending so much to spec the 19' Sport Design's.

... I expressed a wish to have the Michelins when I specced the 19" Classics. The dealership made a call, and came back saying their was no way they could specifiy the tyres, and I would have to take whatever it was delivered with. As it turns out, the car came with the Michelins, so in that respect I'm happy, but I wonder whether the dealership were feeding me a line.

Tonse - I expressed the same wish as you, and my dealership said exactly the same to me as yours did to you. Fortunately my car has also arrived on the Michelins.
