been bad over here for ages -each week just gets more depresing.

Sadly number plate recognition will tell them that it's a 5 or 6 speed or a 2.7 or 3.4 & the Co2

I here the new trick is to get foreign plates or a foreign car.

Interesting point - I did some looking up on this and what I found was 1) Australia, 2) US, 3) Canada. If one looked at this even more I am sure that order could be traded around.

All very large industrialized countries with spread out populations. And they tend to be quite at bit worse than just about everyone else. IMO nothing to be proud about as a Canadian in any case. Attitudes will be changing though, I have no doubt.

Too bad about the London situation. I don't necessarily support the view of the city but I get somewhat confused by companies such as Porsche challenging the city. It seems as if companies want to have an interest in everything but accountability for none of it. I believe Porsche may end up with egg on its face eventually for taking this strategy.

At least if the mayor makes unpopular decisions he would eventually get voted out by the public.
