I would have had more leather inside but not available with first orders!

Think I've got it about perfect....role on September 1st!
Very nice - although it looks like you bottled the colour! I'm surprised that a '998' C2S will not have 19" wheels as std - my guess is that they will be a new design as Porsche do this to counter point their model updates.

I'm also surprised at the PASM Sport option. Certainly with 997's my understanding was that was either/or, is this a chance of spec.?

Also I would resent paying the ~£2k Porsche want for the satnav/phone system when £400 will buy a better system in the high street - I'd spend the money on the Sports exhaust.

And I'm also convinced that the dealer's claim that PCM is essential for re-sale is guff - certainly here lots more people here are looking for s/c and PASM than PCM.

Enjoy the car, I'll enjoy reading the reviews in the September motoring rags.

Thanks Nick,

It is actually quite nice to have committed a spec - means I can stop thinking about it. Sunday lunch sounds good - will I still be allowed out with you Caymanites?

Shoestring - your car is lovely, but I couldn't do white and black for a car I use everyday for work etc - maybe for my track car

19" wheels are standard but I have upgraded to the carrera sports. Change of spec on the PASM - can have it as std or upgrade (as I have) to PASM sport with -20mm and LSD - ie the works. Its a bargain too, but sworn to secrecy!

PCM is personnel and I have specced the car for me not for resale - if this turns out to be the last flat 6 911 - I'll keep it forever anyway! To be honest I just wanted it and decided not to comproise at all on the spec for the sake of a little more money - no point spending all those pennies and having regrets - that would be called a wedding!! Joke obviously!!!

You did well to change the colour. I have a Carrara White and it looks great from a distance but up close the different shade of white on the bumbers is beginng to really bug me
