Dealer Servicing

Does anyone have any experience of getting their modified cars serviced at the PGB dealer network? It will be blindingly obvious that some of our cars have been heavily modified and Im wondering if its true that Porsche log modified cars in their database. This would mean that at trade in time regardless of whether we have returned our cars to OEM spec that 'big brother porker' will roll us over on price or even refuse to accept our cars. If this is the case the only option would be to service our cars at places like camtune or Parr but suspect that non-dealer servicing is a big no-no to both private buyers and the dealer network come trade in time. Are we stuffed?

I doubt that, they extended the warranty on mine mind you I've only changed the exhaust. Anyone buying hopefully would have done their homework and know indy's like Parr know their stuff. But if the car was seriously 'max powered' I wouldn't blame anyone for walking away.

Terry, The OPC serviced mine, and didn't say anything....only to try and get me to spend more money on disc's and pads and wiper blades and air con and brake fluid and and and and . I supplied my own oil and saved £100 on their price.....finished up costing £260 something, if I'd have done what they wanted I wouldn't have had change from £3k......so if they put me on a database.......it's againt the law...but I don't care as I'm keeping mine anyway

That's the spirit! Just consider what the first 356s are worth now!!!

I hope my first Porsche will be with me to the end! My sis/bro-in-law still have their first 356. They are well past their upper 60s!
