Spotted: Silver Cayman on 55 Reg, Standard Cayman wheels, parked outside CJ Ball's in Norwich Saturday 25th Feb. First Cayman I've seen on the road apart from Porsche Cambridge Demonstrator.
I've seen two on the roads - one arctic on the M1 Northbound around Leeds a while ago, and another Acrtic on Balham High Rd, London about 6 weeks ago.
Tonse
I live farily close to OPC Reading but have only seen one Cobalt on the M4 (whilst in an OPC Cayenne) in the last few weeks. Saw one in Jersey a few months back and then saw one today on the M4 going in the opposite direction.
Jackwood - is there a UK meets thread? If so is there anyway to have it as a sticky so you do not have to trawl through the UK threads section?
I drive around 2,500 to 3,000 miles per month and I have only ever seen 2. One was parked in Esher and I stood by the side of the road for 10 minutes in the freezing cold waiting for the owner to return and drive off. He finally returned and drove off like an OAP - never gunned it at all, I was gutted! The second one was on the M6 Toll Road going in the opposite direction, but this is one rare car !
Saw an Artic Silver on the Swindon to Malmesbury road at about 5pm today, quite near to where I live. Could have been one of the demonstrators from the Swindon OPC but that is not the usual test route they use. Gave him a flash of the lights and he returned the greeting - nice!
I was overtaken this morning at about 8am,whilst stationary in traffic by a dark coloured cayman, withits spoiler raised ,travelling at approx 30-40 mph. This was on the Birmingham New Rd near Priory Rd,Dudley, heading towards Wolverhampton. The car had a 5 digit personalised plate. J
