I Play Golf as BADLY as I do everything else........... (All the Gear but No Idea).

Never been interested in a beemer (BMW = Big Motor for Wankers)
Only driven in my locality by Hairdressers, Estate Agents, Pimps and Drug Dealers.........

My old 2000/W reg Mercedes will surprise many - The Lowered suspension also has trouble with Sleeping Policemen/Speed Bumps.

The Petrol Mileage is abysmal......

Perhaps one day I should take it to the track - (preferably towing a caravan) but I think it would kill me..............

Agree re the ceramics - I was at the touring cars and carrera cup today at Donnington; (in Porsche hospitality) got chatting to a guy with a 997 - says he has ceramics and at 40K miles is dreading the service!!

Never had one single freeby from my OPC since I got the car........Booooo.....

Sounds like I need to call my "man" at the OPC and see if there are any of these in the NW. You heard anything Allan?

Not recently, but then again I'm not buying 80+ grands worth of new 997 as Darren is !!.........think I told you I went to Elvington last year for a maximum speed test down "Hammond" straight 168 mph in mine and 172 mph in theirs...apparently I should have used Shell rather than Tesco for my super Unleaded !!

Try the BP 105 Octane - available locally to me at the Garage next to Maranello's the Ferrari Dealers - at 1.79p a litre........

Now that makes your eyes water.............. (And I'm not talking about the extra speed you go!)

Now if you really want to see silly prices, Elf Turbo Max at £4.23 + VAT per Liter or Normally aspirated fuel @ £3.64 + VAT per Liter. These prices are regularly paid by Rally Guys. Then you can "come down" to Carless at £2.55ish + VAT per Liter, as used by "Clubmen" !!!!!

Unbelievable......... What makes the difference? (compared to for example BP Ultimate 102 octane I can get locally) I see that it is only 102 octane too.

On the Carless distributor site - 107 octane in 25 litre drums..........?
