New Addition on Order......

Well, it is time to say goodbye to the AMG Mercedes Estate...........

A new addition to the family is on the way..................

A bit more sensible this time....... only 2.0 litres (More tax efficient!)

But it has a Turbo, Direct Injection and a DSG Gearbox.............

A Skoda Octavia vRS Estate - With towbar and Trailer...........

Guess what Colour I ordered??????

Nice choice Karel. Will probably handle a little better than the Merc too. Quite a nice car really. VW have done a great job with the Skoda range.

What's going on the trailer?

Nice Try, But NO Cigar............

Although the Blue is a Vibrant Rich Royal Blue................... This would be a Good Choice!

Actually the DSG Swayed me........ Terry loved his, on his Golf, and this is exactly the same Box - perhaps it can train me for the time the CS has one! (Probably will be the same Box Too!)

I already have the 'My Other Car is a Porsche' - Stickers for the Rear Window

These new Skoda's are VW's (owned by Porsche) in all but Badge and much cheaper - the old stigma has gone..............

The Trailer - So I can tow the 'Yellow Peril' and also have an extra set of Tyres, Jack and Tools on Board..........................

Extra set of tyres and tools - not enough...you need at least 4 sets of tyres, brakes etc and your own mechanic - eh Allan???

I work on the simple principle "If you've got it...You probably wont need it" but if you haven't got it.....yer dam right you'll need it straight away...
I remember Oulton Park last August, Had everything........except neither me nor Jim had put a trolley jack in the van....................rather embarrassing having to borrow one from the guys in the next garage!!

Karel, If you are now carrying all your own Wheels/Tyres and Spares, does that mean that you wont need Jims services ????
