Scottish cayman Drivers- Make yourself known.

Should we be organising a Cayman club meet in Scotland with a day at Knockhill. I dont know what the numbers are or if people based south of the border were prepared too travel up but it could be good to get together and show the same sort of passion towards our cars as the American boys do.

Lets get the ideas flowing and see if we can think of something suitable for Scotland

I could probably be tempted by a trip down to Knockhill, but maybe later in the year.

My track experience is pretty minimal (a "novice" track day at Knockhill in my Civic Type R) so I was hoping to take my first experience of "running with the big boys" somewhere with plenty of space like Bedford. I don't much fancy pebbledashing my car in the gravel trap at Scotsman first time out...

David.

Wouldnt have too be a full out blast but it would depend on the numbers. Im coming from Aberdeen so its a good few hours for me too get there. We can see how the post goes, It would make for a really decent feature and interesting too get the caymans together.

I'll look into the possibility of a meeting at Bedford beginning September - try to make it a midweek 'Porsche Only' day again like last time (much more civillised)

However how's about coming down to Anglesey 20th June an open and safe track like Bedford - I'll offer you (and anybody) to drive the 'Yellow Peril' and I am sure that Tess and the 'Silver Bullet' will also oblige.............

Typically we drive you as a passenger, explaining as we go, and then we sit with you, whilst you drive... (Praying Quietly) Guiding you throughout..............

Come Along...................

Unfortunately June is one big work crisis (including weekends ) but I'm actually going to be down in London at the beginning of September for a couple of weeks, so the Bedford idea could work. And thanks for the offer of a bit of instruction - I think I'd need it!

David.

Well, I live near Knockhill and in theory at least would be pleased to meet a few other members, but I work every weekend which rather makes life difficult. I also have no desire to go on the track, but would be OK with just a social get together.
