Extended Warranty £895.............

Porsche Guildford, have just written to me (using registered Signed for Delivery - how wasteful is that?) to advise me that my warranty is up - and that they would like to do nothing again for another year - for £895........ So please send a cheque...........

Where do they come up with this figure? - Who Pays it?

The 'Yellow Peril' would not be covered anymore by any Porsche Warranty, it is too far away from standard specification.

Why do we not get a 4 year warranty like our American cousins? (Even though we pay 50% extra for our cars??????)

Looks like we need to Picket Porsche GB Headquarters and demand equal rights...............

Agreed. 2 yr is just down right mean. Most offer 3 years!
I didn't bother with the extended warranty cause I will never buy a car from that manufacterer again if it need major repair in less than 3 years of ownership---esp. for a low mileage car!

I think that 7k is for Claire to see, when in fact I bet it's over 10k
I know my car cost £53 856, and I've wasted....I mean spent >12k on bits, shall we say, and that’s likely to go up another 4-5k on brakes soon !!!

Well, I spent 47k on the car and (just) spent under 1k upgrading it. And it goes more than fast enough for a "mere mortal" like myself

And no, I didn't get the warranty either. But I did need a new radiator this year, so my warranty saving has been reduced to £600 so far.

Guys............ Let me live with my delusions...........

And after I have paid for the new Seats/Belts it will be closer to your numbers.....

And as Jack Says - It already drives faster/more than my Anal Spincter Control can cope with...

I go with the Mere Mortals, with Jack -

Let Allan drive at 120MPH over the grass (I would have already prepared to go to that other place)

Allan - Don't bother with the brakes, as I know (from looking at my rear view mirror) that you do not use them...................

I'm committed to having and trying the first set from Alcon.......if I use them, or not, well that is a different question (don't worry Karel I will NOT have them for Anglesey)

So the side of the Yellow Peril is safe, as you try another improbable passing manoeuvre??????
