dension 500 re-set

Am having my Cayman S fitted with a Dension 500 in the UK soon and have heard because I only have a single CD player I need the system re-setting to recognise my I-pod.Does anyone know how much my beloved dealer will charge for this,or is there another way around this problem.I have PCM2 with navigation system and telephone module.

Well no answers on that one,but my friendly Hi-Fi dealer also recommends a device for playing an i-pod,made by Nav tv,anyone got any experience with this one?
