I think its been mentioned about 4 times - there is no such thing as a tubi 'full system'. Tubi only make a cat-back. Tubi do not make headers. I have no experience with the capristo system.

No mention of Borla so far -- query will provide much info, most of it positive. ... Though they do seem to be a bit hard to get right now. I've had mine fo about two months with no problems, power, great sound and tolerable drone.

I have noticed no-one has mentioned the Supersprint full exhaust system. This system is being used in the Cayman Cup races in Italy, although is street legal. It has a really good sound, should be well made and is quoted as giving a really good power increase.Anyone had one fitted?

I have a 06 CS with Tubi and a Softronic Flash. While it is a little load I think it sounds very good. At the track it sounds great! I do not agree that it reduces HP from stock. My guess is that there is a modest increase of 4 to 8 HP.

I finally got around to recording the sound of the AWE. If interested, you can watch the video.

I'm quite happy with my Milltek catback. It is louder and sharper than stock but not too loud. (I currently don't have my engine carpet cover on and THAT is loud and sounds sweet!) But anyway...
I had the IPD plenumn installed with the OEM non-sports exhaust. Modest performance gains at best. I then added the Milltek and it made a HUGE difference in how the car performed. It really made the motor come alive and it definately improved the performance. So much so that I really think you need to get an exhaust if you are considering a plenumn. The 2 just go together. Improve air flow in--need to improve exhaust flow out.

Well, pretty much everyone has a different story and different opinions-- no doubt everyone has their reasons, too. I have heard numerous stories here and other sites, and my opinion is that if you want to change your exhaust it's-- most likely, but not always-- because you want to hear a better, sportier, fuller note. I have the Tubi cat-back (yes, they only make cat-back) and I get compliments from other Porsche owners. The shop that installed it, who works on Lambos, Ferraris, and Porsches said it's one of the best quality systems he's ever seen. Too loud? Yes, but only when I want it to be. Short-change and keep revs below 3,500RPMs and you'll barely hear the difference from stock. My neighbors? Every time they complain, I rev above 7,000 to drown-out their lousy noise. Ahhh, what a wonderful sound...

Question for you: Why would you spend gobs of $$$ for only a moderate sound increase? Of course, I didn't think so.

Go Tubi, and enjoy Modena's finest orchestra.

If you really want a car that screams like that I think you'd be better off going with Capristo, Ken can attest to its lack of resonance in the cabin and the hp gains are much better than tubi.

Best advice I can give is to take your time in picking a system and listen to them in person or go for drive/ride in the cars if at all possible.
