Squeaky window and clutch

hey guys,

I get a squeek noise every time I depress the clutch pedal (assumed clutch spring).

I also get a squeek when the passenger window is down more than 3/4 when I go over bumps in the road, higher than this and there is no sound from the window.

Are these common probs?

My car is a 2007 car, so still under original warranty - best bet to let my OPC take care of it?

Cheers,
Fd.

Take it to a nice OPC and let them take care of it. My clutch has always had a little squeek, but not bothered me. Never heard of a squeeky window like that, sorry.

Can't help with the window problem, but had the same thing with the clutch. Just spray some WD-40 on the under dash linkage. Took a while to work in, but noise gone for now.

I too had a squeaky clutch. After putting up with it for 9 months (and being told by the dealer it was normal), I talked to a different mechanic at the dealer and they replaced the clutch release bearing. Now there is no noise when depressing the clutch. It was always a bit embarrassing with that squeak at a stoplight, but no more. I am now clutching with pride!

Guys, got this sorted. Took it to Porsche and it looks like they've replaced the window seals on both sides of the car, and the clutch is now fine also. Not sure what they did to the clutch, but it's silent now.
