Best petrol

Been reading about the new Shell V-power. It was rated as 99 RON. Same as Tesco 99RON. Wonder which one is better?

I know Shell Optimax and the new V-Power got detergent to clean your engine while driving. Not sure whether those from Tesco got the same benefits!

Current Optimax price in Liverpool 99.9p/l

Raysman,

I went on their website, V-power is going to replace Optimax. Hope they are not going to charge more!!!

TheCayman S is designed to develop full power on 98RON. I am not sure whether the ecu can adapt and provide more bhp due to better fuel quality!

Thanks for clearing that up. I've been to London a few times, but it was years ago. What is that in US dollars? Say 3.8 L/gal, so about $7/gal. That about twice what we pay. I only buy Shell 93 V-Power. Right now it's about $3.10/gal. I could never complain about gas prices here in the US. It's cheap compared to other countries.
Cheers,
Jason
