Who Will Be First?

So only 2 days to go.

Who is picking up a car this weekend? And where from?

If your car arrives at the dealer on (say) December 5th and would be available (say) December 9th (assuming time to fit a tracker and whatever) would it make sense to delay delivery until January ?

If you can resist that temptation, you are a better man than I.

That would be a financial reason, I suppose, and something that has been of little consequesce in this purchase.

I will be collecting mine at the earliest available opportunity, regardless of year.

. . . you're 'aving a laugh! My new croc sitting in the dealers compond until Jan and not all warm in my garage?! You're obviously not as excited or eager as I - can't think of any plausable reason to watch it just sit there and torment myself - these cars will not lose any money in the 1st six months - every day counts now my frend and should make a great Xmas pressie to myself (along with the XBOX 360 next week).

I will be getting mine at 9.00 am when the dealer opens today. Plan to use it as a daily driver. Had plenty of Porsches but this will be my first new one. Will put about 100 miles on it today.

I'll certainly be one of the first in Japan. Ship arrives in Japan on 12/12, car arrives at the dealer on 12/27, I take delivery on 12/29. According to my dealer, 35 cars are coming to Japan from the November build, but at least 20 of these are for dealerships. For at least a short period of time I'll be driving one of the very few Cayman's on the road. Can't Wait!

so thats 100 miles up and loving it. plenty of smiles from other road users and quite a few thumbs up. So far no negativity. Tremendous car, very happy with it and very pleased with my decision. Drive is excellent, brakes are far better than I was expecting. Its going to take tremendous will power to run it correctly.

Patch, spec is minimal, no big items except 19 sport wheels, I just couldnt resist them.
Lukeo, pics later. Going out for another blast.
To my eyes the Cayman looks better than the 911. The fog lights at the front blend in much better than the pictures had led me to believe.
