Bolton OPC

Just wanted to let you all know that I had the most amazing experience.

I seem to have actually found a Service Assistant in Dave Thomas at the new Bolton OPC that not only is an avid Porsche fan, but as a technician of 25 years and an ex-GT3 Cup racer someone who actually knows what he is talking about.

I had a service, 20K miles, and had 2 front tyres (amazingly cheaper than any price I could find on-line) and ISOFIX kt and airbag switch fitted.

On top of that I had a list as long as my arm of warranty issues. Every one was resolved, including hatch rattles and squeaks.

It is going back for a new Sport Chrono clock as the glass was loose, and 3rd brake light as it rattled. They are also going to strip out the side windows to get rid of the smearing of grease on the glass when it rains.

Dave was a great guy, and the experience (compared to another OPC I have used) was wonderful.

Jack

Pleased to read this, and I can add that not all OPC's are bad. My dealings with the OPC in Edinburgh have all been positive so far, and I have even written to congratulate them on how well they handled the sale of my Cayman. I hope they are as good on the workshop side.

In general, I never hesitate to complain if I get poor service, but I balance that by saying thanks when I get good service, usually in writing.

Glad you've had a good experience with them, they are the closest OPC to me although I bought my car from Sheffield. I'll probably use Bolton for my servicing.

My experience with Bolton has been exemplary. They are trying very hard. And have been very very good both with advice and their service.
Keep up the good work Bolton !!!!
Concerning "your other" OPC ...It does seem funny that they are both owned by the same company???

Car goes back in Thursday for the warrenty work that was waiting for factory-order parts (chrono clock adn rear 3rd brake light).

Nice suprise, I'm getting a 997 as a loaner this time! Nice to have an up-to-date comparison.
