Evo is out, and it is their eCOTY piece. They have done a 'Real World COTY' and an 'Unreal World COTY'.
Cayman was in the latter.
In short, the Cayman came in 6th. Bit dissapointing until reading that the main reason is the chassis is just too good for the engine 'Turbo grip with Boxster grunt' to quote. There was no 911 in the COTY this year.

Definitely made a great choice in ordering my Cayman after seeing the list. One BMW is the only other car that I may have been able to afford and I since I have talked to several people that own BMWs I know I made the right choice with Porsche.
And having had a Clio, though it is a fabulous drive and stupidly cheep for the performance, but not the kind of car you want to drive every day too and from work.
Evo says, it handles too well for it's own good and not enough torque to unstick the back end, also its very fast and accurate through the bends, but not adjustable by the throttle like the 911.

Interesting comment since I was able to 'unstick' the rear end of the 987S on the track, it just took a little time to figure out how, I suspect the same is true for the Cayman. With more lateral grip than the 911 it takes a different driving style than just mashing on the throttle to bring the Cayman S rear-end around.
