Sorry, forgot to ask, but was planning on contacting Porsche direct if I had not heard anything this week.

I will ask about the driving day tomorrow when I pick up my Cayman. I really don't think I am going to get much work done today.... only 24 hours to go. I've already had about 3 sleepless nights.......

Out of interest, do you use your own car on the Porsche Driving Day or do you use one of theirs ? Any idea where they are held in the UK - is there one in the North West ?

Jackwood,

Yep, am sure i'll be up all night (i have been the past couple of nights)

I had a bit of a nightmare with my insurance policy (nearly as bad as yours). My dealer called me yesterday to say it had still not arrived (I asked my broker to send it about 1 week ago). It turned out that they had sent it to me (only yesterday) and not the dealer. I had to drive to the dealer late last night and pop it under their door. Got an email from the dealer a couple of hours ago saying that the car is all ready to go.....

not long now......

Yep, I think most companies will expect you to have it. My cheapest quote was with me having Tracker Horizon, which is the most expensive Tracker £781

Best quote I have had for mine so far was c.GBP735 and NO tracker required. That was with Groupama via AA Insurance brokers.

Tracker required with Tesco. Could the area also effect if a Tracker is required?

Glad everything is looking good for A Friday Go, Justin.

I know Direct Line won't quote for any expensive vehicles (even my wifes ML320) without Tracker fitted. I don't mind paying for Tracker if the insurance company offer some kind of discount. However, they seem to insist on it even though I live in a low crime rate area.
