I may be wrong but someone told me that they went to Germany and then on a boat to the country of destination. Hence it could be possible to pick it up and drive back - however it is winter.
I read on another thread that there is one boat every two weeks - is this right? My dealer says that Porsche state you get your car 3 weeks after build completes, but they typically arrive within 2 weeks. Struggle to believe that they have only 1 slot every two weeks - surely they want the money in the bank....or rather I just want my car !!
I do know that there is 1 boat every two weeks to the USA, and yes the dealer does wnat to bank that money and should be doing their best to get the car asap!

For the US that's incorrect, the boat leaves Finland directly for port in the U.S. as a standard practice.
Last I knew it was every 2 weeks, but I don't have any more recent stats, could be sooner, could be later, and cars are staged so yes they might sit for a bit, also when cars come in to port they can sit for awhile there too awaiting PDI and even after PDI they can wait for a delivery truck to take them to the dealership. That's why my philosophy is 'It gets here when it gets here!'
I just keep waiting for that code to change to ONVESL, then I think tracking it will be fairly easy, until then we just wait and wait. At least we are not alone.
