31st March - Cayman Club Track Day Bedford

Alex Baker of MotorSportVision Phoned me today and advised me that they had added a new date -Saturday the 31st March- and e-mailed the following Link:

www.motorsportvision.co.uk/trackdaycalendar

This is a Porsche Only Day at Bedford Autodrome

175 pounds for the day - Open Pitlane

If we can get 10 Caymans out - we can have a 10% rebate

Let me know your names so I can list them (your real names!), and also let him know that you are from the Cayman Club.......... When you book.

Perhaps we can have a get together either the Friday or the Saturday Night!

I am booking up now........

Cheers Karel

Take her to Bedford for the Weekend........ A 'Surprise' destination!

OR:

Drive down to Cambridge? on the Friday Night - Leave Early morning whilst she is still asleep, leave lots of cash and a map of Cambridge shopping Centre.......... And of course book an outlandishly expensive restaurant - 20.00 for 20.30 (track time stops at 17.00) to Celebrate......... Worth a try?

What about letting her drive?

Good Luck

Karel

That's a real shame from my point of view as I am away in Exmoor that weekend. Off to the Autodrome (West Circuit) this Saturday, though!

Have fun on that day all. Hopefully there'll be another such date this year that I might be able to attend. Our cars are very well-suited round the Autodrome IMO.

Im very interested although booked up the week before at Castle Comb. My other worry is whether or not my tubi exhaust will pass the sound check since its very tightly monitored at Bedford. I swear the darn thing sounds like a jet fighter. Im trying to find somewhere to get the sound check done or may even buy my own monitor from ebay....as for place to stay, last time I stayed at North End Barns, Bletsoe, Bedford which is a small farm literally on the edge of the autodrome. Very basic but clean and great breakfast in the farmhouse: tel: 01234 781320. Highly recommended at around 40GBP per night.
