Silverstone on Saturday? Anyone?

I will be at Silverstone on Saturday. Anyone else going? Not sure if there any places left. Im almost tempted to pull out because I have some teething problems with my mods - car not back yet and parts still have not arrived.

Would anybody be interested in taking my place??

Help!!

Yea RIGHT!!!!!!

For anybody else reading this, don't let Tess (Allan) kid you. He is a MORE than capable, very fast driver.

Allan, having been to Bedford on a PCGB track day, up against a mixture of cars, and having driven a couple of our infamous NW Meet routes with you, you'll be more than fine.................

Can't wait......

Jack

I still do, but I'll probably be driving something silver on Saturday. I'll keep a lookout for Caymans during the day! BTW I'm in group 1.

Ah Will, it must be a real dilemma trying to decide which to take, lol

What will you take on the 31st March? The Cayman, I hope?

Yes, planning to use Cayman at Bedford on both 3rd and 31st March. Have been having some problems with my brakes, which hopefully will be fixed by 3rd.

What kind of problems? Are you trying to get them sorted with an OPC or your Indy who has been doing your brake/pad changes?

A couple of moments at Castle Coombe last month, where I couldn't get the brakes to work on the first attempt! They worked fine before and afterwards - but elsewhere there might not have been an afterwards! Needless to say I'm going to have them checked out by my Indy before tracking the car again...

Apart from that I've been pleased with the brakes - the Pagid RS29 pads are still OK after 10+ trackdays (more than double the life of OEM pads) and the fluid change has meant no boiling / soft pedal...
