I've taken the wheels off the car this weekend to give them a good clean and had to 'adapt' my trolley jack to use the Porsche jacking points. Does anyone in the UK know where I can buy the equivalent jacking plate that Booth Design produce in the US. I rang Porsche and they don't sell them. Any ideas ?
We don't play too much hockey in the UK ! I actually cut a piece of wood to fill in the jack 'cup' and placed a thick piece of rubber on top taken from stable flooring. It worked OK, but it was a bit improvised !
Steve
I've been using $1.00 hockey pucks with my floor jacks for many years of Porsche ownership. Never a problem. I've got a "proper" Porsche jacking plate that's been sitting unused on my garage shelf for as long.
Can't find hockey pucks? Shoot me an email (or PM) w/your mailing address & I'll be happy to ship you a few at no charge.
