Ultimate Pedals End of Year Sale

Ultimate Pedals would like to offer a 35% discount end of year sale.

Here are some photos from one of our Cayman Club group buys (photos kindly provided by RedRocket):

We are a machine shop in Southern Florida and have a line of racing pedals that we design/manufacture in house.

We custom make every order so modification is no problem.

In additional to pedals made specifically for your Cayman, we offer logo/crest/emblem pocketing, custom engraving, heel toe gas pedal extensions, heelguards, door sills, etc.....

(pedal order minimum definition is a gas and brake or brake/clutch pedals)

We offer a no questions asked moneyback guaranteed if you are not satisfied with the fit or finish.

Other forum members really enjoy the product.

Here is a link to our last group buy if you would like to view some customer feedback:

http://www.caymanclub.net/topic.asp?...le=Cayman+Chat

Now down to the nitty gritty....

Standard engraving/logo pockets are an extra $10 per pedal.

Custom engraving available, pricing depends on the complexity of the engraving.

The pedals will have the discount, any engravings/pocketing will not.

The engravings look like what you would see on the back of a watch or inside a ring NO COLOR IN THE ENGRAVING, it is just an engraving.

You can view engraving examples at the following link (scroll down to the bottom of the page):

ENGRAVING PHOTOS

The sale is offered from today 11/23/07 and ends on 1/1/08.

Shipping charges are typically ~$13 (UPS Ground within the Continental US).

So now that all that stuff is done, How do I get my discount?

Preferably, if you have a pretty straight forward order, please use our website.

Our Cayman line products be viewed here:

CAYMAN PEDALS

Specify your Cayman, the Cayman Club "End of Year Sale", as well as any engraving/pocketing options during the checkout process when you are asked to indicate year, make, and model.

If you don't mention the Cayman Club "End of Year Sale" you will not receive the discount.

Also, with the website you won’t see the discount automatically, and you will get a confirmation email pretty quickly.

That email will not have the discount applied to it, DONT WORRY....the set up of our software cannot compute a discount, it has to be manually entered. The discount will be refunded back to your credit card when your order is ready to ship.

Also, when we ship your pedals you will receive a second e-mail from UPS Quantum View (for the US orders) with your order’s tracking number.

You can also call us, please try to use our website unless you really hate internet shopping or you have a custom order, it takes up a lot of manpower to answer questions by phone.

Please post any questions in this thread, I will answer questions as quickly as possible.

I should point out ultimatepedals.com is not a Porsche product, but hey neither is Cayman Club, so it's all good.

Sorry for the very lengthy instructions, but I hate when there is not enough info.

Also PLEASE POST WHEN YOU HAVE MADE AN ORDER, AND JUST SAY HOW MANY PIECES YOU ORDERED (1, 4, ETC ETC).

Rob

If you don't have a spring loaded center punch get one before starting your install. It will make all the difference.

I just placed my order for clutch, brake and gas pedal in frosted anti-slip without inserts. I bought the left footrest pedal awhile ago and couldn't decide if I wanted the remaining 3 pedals. This sale decided that easily for me.

The footrest pedal is very nice. The look is great. Can't wait to get the other 3. Now I need to find a spring-loaded center punch.

Thanks Ultimate Pedals

Installation looks simple & 35% discount can't beat that. Will my Cayman go any faster?

Received my clutch, brake and gas pedals. Thanks, Ultimate Pedals for a great deal on a great product. Now, if only I could find where my wife hid them so I could install them before Christmas!!

I have one question. I have seen in the articles section that some minor grinding of the pedal support may be necessary to clear the nut behind the clutch and/or brake pedal (I forget which one).

I wanted to try something different. I was wondering if the metal is thick enough to drill and tap the pedals for a 10-32 thread (I believe that is the screw size sent with the pedals) for the clutch and brake. That way I can simply screw the aluminum pedal to the pedal on the car and won't need to use the nuts. I could use some lock-tite to keep the screw tight.

Does this sound feasible. I have not yet removed the rubber pedals to see how thick the metal is.

Waddaride,
I just got a set and am getting ready to install them. The clutch pedal arm is plastic (yes I was surprised, but lighter than steel) so I doubt tapping it would work. You have to grind off a little plastic on back of the pedal so the nut will pull tight.
