Well, good for BBI. CCC1234 and I both have their Pulley on our cars and I can vouch for them.

Im feeling pretty confident on getting in on this, I have one issue I hope to address and that is the AC. Living in Vegas, having an Air Conditioner that runs at its optimum performance is a little bit important for about 4 months of our summer. Can anyone comment on the AC and if it's affected? I have read the other threads about the electrical system and I have no real qualms with that..

I'm surprised to not hear anyone worrying about if this will affect their warranty! Usually that's the first thing I hear on any car forum when it comes to engine mods.

The way I see it, the only way a UDP is gonna botch up the works is if the installation is botched. The whole point of it is to keep you out of the service bay. If there's no associative/causal relationship between the mod and the failure mode, they're very unlikely to raise a stink. With the UDP, we are saving PCNA money (fewer warranty claims on the accessories that cough up blood on extended high revs), and PCA has already approved UDPs for street-stock Caymen.

So, do the install right, and this is a negative risk mod.

I started having problems with my power steering, so I had a pulley installed, but the damage was already done. I brought the car into the dealership with the pulley on and had no problem, it was fixed under warranty.

Search the threads we have had members test all charging system to see if there were any ill effects. There were none.
