(Assuming Kit inlcudes Plenum Kit/Softronic Flash/cable for non-customers)

What are (if any) the downsides of the install, ie is there a big drop in fuel encomony and is the power gain even across the rev range.
Hello...............?

I am squeezing every ounce of performance power out of my CS (to make up for my total lack of driving skill) - Hence the addition of the Plenum / Software, to all of the other mods.........

Fuel economy on a standard CS - on the Track = 8 MPG (British Imperial Gallon - sort of 6/7mpg to the US gallon) Last track day = $400 in gas...... and you are looking at the downside of fuel economy?

Actually yes, fuel economy maybe very important for those running endurance races and even on sprint events to some degree.

I allready own the Softronic flash. My car has a full Milltek system, headers & catback. My car has Sports Chrono. What further gains would the Plenum/Softronic combo gain, in torque/hp?

Any info would be appreaciated. I beleive I have a good amount of company with similar setups.

Those running endurance races will, no doubt already have resigned themselves to the standard woeful CS fuel economy. and fitted long range tanks.
Sprint racers, will run the standard tanks low........... a reduction in fuel economy with the improvement in performance from the Softronic Plenum/software is to be expected (and enjoyed!).

. . . and those of us who use our Cayman as a daily driver. (Though I'm willing to make the sacrifice in the name of more BHP )

If I were to purchase this package, who would be the best bet for installation, my local Porsche dealer or a reputable Porsche specialty shop? Or does it matter?

So what it the relationship between Porsche and Softronic, such that Softronic would have exclusive distribution?

If this is a "100% Porsche" product, I assume it will have a Porsche part number. Correct?

Thanks, Andy
