Porsche Logo Softronic Race Plenum

Softronic will be releasing its plenum upgrade in the next week. This will be a Porsche race plenum coupled with a 80mm race throttle body and map to get the added performance from the engine. The car will run as a hybrid 3.4 and take full advantage of the rpm increase. These parts are also all 100% Porsche and only available to Softronic. This will be the highest performance increase available to the NA Cayman/Boxster 987 3.4 engines at the best price.

This upgrade will have to be purchased as a matched set or available to all Softronic software purchasers at an reduced rate. This program will not work with other plenum's.

A 2.7 package is also availible.

Can you give recommendations for a full set of breathing mods? Exhaust, catback, plenum, air intake, headers - with software to match?

I've done the safety and handling mods and am now ready to start playing with the breathing mods.

Advice appreciated.

The final prices have to be set, however Plenum, ducting, Throttle Body and all other essentials with software should be around 750.00 for existing customers.

Scott,
Do you have or are you releasing a software version for those of us with the IPD Plenum?

Does that mean, ~$1700 for new customers?

No , The price should be about 1400.00 total for the CC members. While some costs I can cut others I cant. Don't worry I always make it work out for all members on this board. After all this board has all my best Friends.

As of now no. The IPD plenum utilizes the same throttle body thus only eliminating the intake torque flap. This new plenum for the 987 made by Porsche along with the throttle body increases the overall volumetric efficiency of the engine with its programming.

Does the Plenum sit well clear of the engine cover and will the kit be made available to Boxster owners.

The projected performance gains are ???
