Group Buy Schild Trunk Liner GROUP BUY

Hi all-
We recently renewed our Sponsorship and wanted to extend a group buy for those interested. For those of you who are not familiar with our product we manufacturer the lid liner for Porsche designed specifically to prevent damage from misplaced items in the trunk. You can find additional information on our website- Das Schild or ask other members about us.

The last group buy, in mid 2006; we reached 32 pieces for a 20% discount. That was with approximately 200 members! We would like to offer a similar group buy that would be discounted as follows:
Up to 32 liners we will extend 20%, anything over that the discount goes to 30%. In dollar terms that reduces the Cayman Schild to $139 from orig. $199 The same discount will be extended for Boxsters- assuming you are a member. We will run this to the end of this month, March.

Please email me if you are interested in participating: jmccarthy@dasschild.com and I will post our progress. We will NOT have the discount posted on our site as this is a member’s only discount. Orders will be processed and shipped at the end of the month. We hope you can take advantage of this as we have been limited in our ability to offer this in the past.

I look forward to any questions or concerns and we appreciate the opportunity to protect your Porsche!

Unsolicited plug. This is a must have.

I have one. It is the closest thing to a "missing piece" of the car as you can get. It takes seconds to install and looks and performs like it was meant to be there all along. In fact, I moved mine from my 2.7 to my 3.4 with no problem.

My only regret is that I paid full retail. LOL.

It was worth the $200 plus I spent. Get one. You won't regret it. What else can you get for your car that is so cheap ?

Don't forget you also need a rear for the Boxster.

Never mind, my original thought this was a liner that went inside to keep things off the carpet.

Dave can you post a pic? Or is there one online already of yours? I am confused....this protects the underside of the front trunk lid? From what?????? Under what circumstances would items in the front trunk damage the underside of the lid short of a crash?

Sorry for the stupid question.... I guess I thought this was a rear cargo liner to protect the upholstery. Which would be nice.

This is a liner for the front trunk. I got mine and it has already helped me when I put some groceries in the front. If you're still planning on coming this weekend to H2R, remind me and I will show you so you can see their product for yourself.

This is a liner for the hood, not for the boot.

Anything you have in your trunk will sooner or later be potentiallay catapulted into the hood/bonnet when you drive over pot hole, speed bump or whatever lays on the road. Since it is only one thin layer of sheet metal it will leave an impression of the object stamped from the inside in your hood

This should help you to see what it is:

My Articles - Das Schild Under Hood Protector - Powered by ReviewPost

The aluminum lid is very easy to dent, this protects the lid from getting damaged by things you might have stored in the front trunk.

I've been wanting to get one of these. I do have a question for those who have it. After I wash my CS I have to wipe up water from the underside of the trunk lid. Does water get trapped between the trunk and schild when you wash your car?

No it does not, and actually the water shouldn't go anywhere close to it as there is a seal before that part of the trunk.
