I stopped by the shop this morning to drop off my car to get the UDPully and an aerokit installed.

That exhaust is a beautiful thing to behold. I was told that they have isolated the exhaust drone so that it can only be heard between ~2300~2700 (if I remember correctly). That is better than the drone range from a lot of other exhausts.

The guys at BBI are fantastic.

Well I finally spoke to the guys at BBI and they seemed extremely nice, inviting and on top of things. Unfortunately the quote I got was way out of my price range considering the first actual price quote they listed on Cayman Club which I included below:

[quote=BBI Autosport;248481]The Exhaust is hand made out of 304 stainless steel and is 27 pounds lighter than stock. The first version was fairly loud, and the second version with the 200 cell metal cats is quieter, but still has a fair cup car rumble.
We have tested the exhaust on a Cayman S with IPD Plenum, BBI under drive pulley and our BBI custom ECU tune, this combination produced a max increase of 303.4hp and 252 lb/ft to the wheels.
The cost is $1995.00

So bummed really was looking forward to purchasing this system. However was put off with the discrepancy in the price quote and the price listed by BBI in this thread. I even thought for sure it may even be cheaper without the cats than the listed cat version $1995.00. Either way the system looks amazing and looks like tedious efforts were involved to make a good product. Back to the drawing board I go

I tested the BBI exhaust for 2 weekends and one was at the 3 day POC event at California Speedway. The exhaust worked great and was complimented on its sound by many. I believe they are going to continue to work on the drone level to get it a little quieter. For a track exhaust it is Badass.
I had to give it back was only testing.

I think the BBI exhaust and prototype brake cooling kit work very well. At least, this is my rationalization for being 2 to 3 seconds slower than CCC4321 at Cal SW
