Did they not commit to a specific timeline when you contracted with them to perform this work and if the timeline was exceeded that there would be some sort of penalty?

I thought it was the old "Double it and add 30" formula, for example 5 degrees Celcius is 5*2 + 30 or 40 degrees fahrenheit. It also works for counting Canadian beers too eh...

To be Absoloutely precise;
To convert a Celsius temperature into degrees Fahrenheit:
Tf = ((9/5)*Tc)+32
