I can't wait for this to get finished. I installed the SRP and saw the top of my engine for the first time this past Saturday. Even with the engine undecorated, it will be very exciting to be able to see it. I'm more excited now than when I put down the deposit.

I think this project has run a little past what was expected. Would love to see this done soon or just not at all. ( For myself that is )

The list is closed, you will have to wait until another one is made, so I am told.

Your other option is to PM somebody on the list that has paid a deposit, but wants out, and swap places with them. You can pay the person their deposit back, and they will email Tess to let him know to swap their name for yours on the list.

How can it take the heat?

I think that the clear cover looks great, but how can it stand up to the heat ceated at a track day? Should you put the stock cover back on for them? I have to take a cool down run of about 10 miles to keep the Castrol srv fliud from boiling and leaving me wihtout a clutch. That stuff boils at over 800 degreed F. No way the plastic can take that without deforming. The 100 cell cats get red hot at track loads.

Ok Guys, I was trying to hold out till I had more, But tonight we got the resin mould on the machine. Then we had a vacuum pipe come off. so in the morning (UK time) that will be fixed and the intention is to pull a "Pet Gee" cover from the mould......apparently this is a soft type of plastic that they use to make sure everything is working ok before they go ahead with the final material. Soooooo tomorrow evening we should have something !!
But just to keep you in he picture, so to speak, below is the resin mould actually on the machine….where it’s going to stay until I have something to show you all !!!
