I would like to take over the deposit for someone who now does not want the clear cover.
Mike C. please tell me how to do this. have the blank cover on ebay for months now. are you the same guy? mike@teamleadfoot.com please let me know 07 cayman s. 55 550/1500 rs spyder (engine is in the center on this car too)!
I don't mean to butt in and speak for Tess, but the final price for the 1A option when I initially signed up was a little less than $1K based on the number of people. So the price of $970 should still be valid.
Although since the dollar has declined so much from the time this project started, who knows, a 20% premium may have to be incorporated to compensate... since all funds would have to undergo a currency exchange.

I’ve posted this list to make everybody aware that, shortly I will be asking for the main instalment…i.e. payment for the cover. But will only do this as we are ready to go into production.
Note: Group Buy Now CLOSED with (Now Revised)-33- On Board

Tess
Don't mean to sound like a confused ninny (but I am), what is the main installment (payment) going to be?, less shipping of course.
This was originally costed the following way;-
$570 for the cover + $270 for the hardcoating =$840
Now as I worked out the deposit on 10 people coming on board and in the end we have 33 we will all have a rebate of approx $239 each from deposit’s paid….. So $840-239 = $601
This is (approx) what we should all have outstanding to pay….
but as has been posted these $ prices were all worked out back in January so I will have to look at final costs, which of course are in £ Stirling and then convert back to $ .....also as we all know all oil derived products have shot up in these last few months so as I’m now back from vacation I’m going in tomorrow to find out the answers. I genuinely don’t think that it’s going to affect us to badly.
NOTE:
One item we will need that wasn’t included in the original price of the cover
......is a new seal as the original one is obviously stuck to he bottom of the aluminium cover. Now I’m trying to source a similar product as the Porsche seal is in the region of $55
Again all the above is a little tongue in cheek until I see the boys. But should give you all an idea of final cost..!!!!
