never understood why people drive up the auction 2 weeks before it ends...I bet that they will sell close to $3000 in the end. If you want them, bid at the last 5 min of the auction!

I agree with you obviously they want them and are willing to pay close to full boat for them or they just want to see if they can drive the price up for others and then bale at the end. I was interested but not at the 3000 plus mark that they will probably sell for. Lets see where they wind up with still 10 more days to go.

I did my bidding early to see how far it would go. I really expected around 1800 until late- then the high 2000s-late- this will go 3000+ 2 rich for me.

How come there are consequtive bids by the same bidder.....looks like they are just bidding against themselves.....what gives. I think sealed bids next time is a great idea. I am still thinking about them if the bidding stalls over the next few day. Anything under 3k might be worth it but once it hits that mark there are a lot of other mods that I could think of spending my money.

I believe the software doesn't show all of the bids, only the current high bid and their prior series. I've noticed that too and I think that is just a visual artifact of the software. I've asked the developers to explain if they can or if there is a fix to see all bids, it is the same way for me as admin.

If it is at all like ebay then K-Man is correct. If the starting bid was $100 and the increments were $10, let's say, then if I put in an early bid of $3000 the first bid would show $100. Someone else bids $200 the next day and then the next number the viewing public will see is $210 from me (who bid $3000 remember) because it autobids up $10 higher for any pursuant bid up to the $3000 the first guy put in. Only when someone else puts in a bid for $3010 or higher will a second bidder show up. And so on.......

Yes I have checked with the software makers and that is how it works gtscayman. You can see this at www.photopost.com if you go to their classifieds product section and click on bug reports and see that I reported this behaviour and their answer to me.
