Not a BC grad, but I lived on Heartbreak Hill while a med student at Harvard in the mid 1980's. Also did a 4 month elective in ECUADOR as a senior med student, spending 3 months in Taisha on the Rio Pastasa, closest siginificant town was Shell Mira. Are you in Ecuador?
