As some of you know I've been in Portland all week. This is the time of our annual company meeting, annual kick-off, updates, etc. at our HQ. Well it also happens to be the time of the year that awards are handed out. So what happens is that our VP gets up and proceeds to tell the audience that the next award winner almost killed him and was responsible for him getting a speeding ticket shortly thereafter. He then explained what he was referring to was that I had taken him on the track in Las Vegas for the "taste of the track" experience and scared the bajeezus out of him. He then announced that I had won the top performer of the year award for my section of the company and I was called up to be roasted further and receive a very nice plaque. So for those of you who wonder if I have a life outside of the website, yes, yes I do. I'm also being tasked with more impossible goals at work, but I'll just have to find a way to meet/exceed those in 2008 too! So this is what we did last night:

Ken - Congratulations on your award. I think between the two of us, we scared the bajeezus out of a bunch of folks with the "taste of the track" that day at Spring Mountain... what a bunch of fun...
