The Lexus Supercar

Check out the latest on the Lexus Super Car. I would be silly with excitement if it had the looks and sound like the auto in the video

The LEXUS will be more attractive than the bloated ugly nissan everyone talks about on this forum

If I was the owner of a Porsche GT3-RS or a Porsche Turbo, I would much rather get beaten by a car that looks like the LF-A, over a car that looks like the GT-R. And the Lexus will cost even more than these Porsches!!
I have already reported twice in different threads here how the LF-A beat the record Porsche GT2's times at Nurburgring.

I've heard the LF-A is going to be priced quite a bit higher than the GT3/911 Turbo, estimated at $225,000.

Anyways... I think it looks quite a bit better in roadster form:

No kidding. That thing looks and sounds amazing!

OTOH, the 'ring times aren't that far off the GT-R, and if the Lexus is really priced at $150K+, it's not much of a bargain. For that money, I might be inclined to get a used F430.

Man, maybe its because I am newly "into" cars, but it feels like this is the Golden Age of performance cars. I'm so happy that all these projects were "Green Lighted" back when oil was <$50/barrel. Imagine the **** being pitched to auto execs now as new projects to roll out in 2010.
