Ford delaying F-150 release 2 months...

...not that I care.

Except to postulate that they are reviewing the available engine choices and/or tuning to increase fuel economy.

Why don't they come out with DFI across the board. It increases fuel economy by around 15% and provides more power.

Cadillac did it on their new CTS, so companies like GM should implement it across the line. Perhaps they are testing their technology on the CTS, and if no problems/setbacks arise, they should carry it through to the other cars.

In addition, the 4 cylinder shutoff in the Tahoe and Suburban cars is 1/2 and 1/2. I get around 20 MPG, but GM should come up with a button to force the car to stay in 4 cylinder mode a lot longer, or even be able to shut them off completely during highway use without having them turn back on by itself.
