Winnebago man-really funny

I saw a reference to this U tube clip in the new Car and Driver magazine. WARNING- This is the most horrible language you could possiblly imagine. DO NOT watch this if you are offended by profanity in any manner because ths clip has it all.. The clip is an outtake of a guy making a feeble attemp to sell Winnebagos in a promotional film. If you can stand the profanity this is really funny. Go to u tube and pull up "Winnebago Man". Do NOT watch this if you are offended by profanity. Rated XXXXXX for language.

Hmm! Hate this "outcast" feeling. Either I have become blind in my advanced age (even took off the progressives!) or the dreaded <5 rule prevents. That's 4. I'll be back.

I thought it was funny until I learned he was ill.

Actually - NOT...

Watching the video, my spouse (a Certified Emergency Nurse and Emergency Nurse Practitioner) and I both came to the same conclusion - this guy is most likely suffering the initial stages of Alzheimer's. He can't remember what HE himself wrote, loses his train of thought very quickly and has violent, irrational emotional outbursts. In all seriousness, his doctor should schedule memory and cognitive ability tests ASAP.

From Wikipedia (I know, not terribly reliable)
The Shasta County Sheriff's Office[5] web site has reported that Mr. Rebney, who is now vision impaired, took his dog for a walk at 2:00 PM on August 2nd, 2007 and never returned home. After his neighbors reported him missing at 10:00 PM, sheriff's deputies found him in a creek drainage off of Rock Creek Rd. in Manton, CA at 12:45 AM on August 3rd, approximately 1/2 to 1 mile from his home. He suffered minor scratches and bruises, but is in good health and did not require medical treatment.

Really funny?

I think not. He either has Tourette's or that video is a poorly made joke...

Did not know the guy was ill. Working in an office where the average age is over 50- myself included-we just thought it was a typical day at our office when things go south. No disrespect meant toward anyone with an illness.

That video is actually from 1990. Can relate to things going south, like "what do you mean there's no database?" Based on Wikipedia article, the guy has indeed gotten worse. Since so many of us here in the CC are "older", maybe we need LoJack so they can find us wandering loose in our Caymans?
