Couple of problems here, you'd need someone to be a sponsor to run a group buy on the jerseys and certain graphics may have to be cleared/approved before they can be used on a jersey. Is there any current sponsor that can customize jerseys? Motordrive comes to mind since I've seen them do shirts, but possibly there are others.

I am new to the cycling world. I have a Cannodale Optimo built for Cyclocross because I could not make up my mind if I wanted to mtn bike or road bike. It has not seen any mountains yet. I also own a mtn bike, but its about 7 years old...so I didn't want to rely on it. I was really wanting to do lots of miles on the road and the mtn bike is not good enough IMO for the road even for short distances (15 miles).
My longest ride so far is 18 miles. And my butt was hurting.....and I dont mean my body...I mean my butt. It kills me to think how the ironman people or the Tour De France people can sit on a bike for 150 miles! WOW. Of course they can probably cover 150 by the time I can cover 15...I am SLOW!

Why do we need a sponsor? And if we only use Cayman club logos is the logo approval still required (by you of course but I mean by others)?
Also gang....bike jeserys have lots of logos.....does anyone want to take their own company and throw some bucks at it in order to get their company logo on the shirt too?
I would consider it...all depending!

K-Man, there's a cottage industry devoted to producing small runs of custom cycling kit. Finding a maker won't be a problem.
Getting permission might be another matter, I guess that depends on you and PCA as much as anything.
PCA - Porsche Club Of America
The Porsche Club of America - http://www.pca.org
CaymanClub.Net members who are also PCA members should request access to the PCA Member only forum by filling in their PCA Member ID# into their profile and then requesting a group membership addition, both of which can be done in the User Control Panel (User CP)
BTW I cycle 16 miles to and from work once or twice a week on a Specialised Sirrus Pro

The first ride of the season is always like that, no matter what you did last year. It takes a few rides for your butt to get toughened up. However, a good saddle really helps too. You may want to make sure your bike is properly fit to you and that your saddle is suited to the type of riding you do.
On the other hand, I really don't want to see the leathery calloused behinds of the TDF riders
I have a custom seat and padded shorts. I think thats about it for fitment.....the rest is just the getting used to it. I have not ridden in about 10 years. So in my new ( 6 months now) exercise regimen, I am running and biking...plus a few more things. I am trying to do at least 10-12 miles a day every day and hopefully 100 miles a week including longer weekend excursions. It is hard to keep that pace up, but its keeping the weight down to a manageable size.
But knowing those rail thin bikers...I am probably one of the ones who "has a gut". baahahahahahahah I may be "thinner" now than six months ago, but I am still not Olive Oil!!
