Does anyone know where to find bicycling jerseys with the Porsche logo? (It'd be too much to hope to find one with the Cayman logo.) I'd also be interested in a team jersey where Porsche was one of the sponsors.
Only Drug Takers / Blood Dopers wear Cycling Jerseys............
Tour de France now on - does anyone care any more.....?
kaerldeeley, that's twice in the last day that you've killed one of my threads with "Only [insert derogatory term] do [insert something dismissive regarding whatever my post was about]". I don't know you well enough to know whether you're trying to be funny. I'd send you a PM on this but I don't have enough posts yet.
Good point ckiger. It is advisable to exercise some caution in how our statements may be taken by others who do not know you. I too am a cyclist, and have been for very many years. And I know of others here in the Cayman Club who appreciate and participate the sport as well.
Even as I do not like to be included in some peoples perceptions that Porsche owners are snobbish (because of a very few), so I do not like being associated with those cyclist who disobey the laws, including those breaking traffic laws and the taking of drugs for whatever use (a relative few in comparison).

I too am a cyclist. The jersey is perfect for the purpose it serves. Keeps you cool, even on the hottest days (I'm a cyclist in Florida and during the summer you will frequently ride in high 90F weather) and the back pockets hold many necessary items. Every sport has it's detractors.
You gotta be skinny to wear one of those things... I don't qualify!

Just goes to show you that, although you can get healthy cycling, it doesn't get rid of guts like running does!
I run and cycle (new to the sport). I still have a small gut (5'10 187#) and now i have to start getting into strength training and core exercises because my 4 miles every morning is just not cutting out the love handles. I am on a diet too (just lost 60 lbs) so its not the food!
I like those jerseys, but to have to order from Australia...? Surely there is something similar in USA? I will search.

Hey, there seems to be good cycling interest on here. Is there any way we could get a Cayman Club cycling jersey made? If we could get a jersey that featured Porsche and CaymanClub.net prominately, as well as some of the site sponsors, that would be pretty slick. Not sure what the minimum order is to get a custom jersey made. Maybe Ken could help out with this. I'd be happy to do some legwork, just not sure who I need to talk to.

I do the MS150 Bike Tour in Pittsburgh every year and my team had custom jerseys made by Velowear. They are of excellent quality and can be ordered in quatities as small as 1. Here is a link that shows the back of our jerseys:
