Porsche Ribbon on New Infinity

My wife is being given a new car as a retirement gift from her company. They asked me to select and buy it based on what we had been looking at that she liked. It is an Infinity EX35. Hoehn in Carlsbad has an Infinity dealership as well as the dealership where I bought my CS. I often visit the Porsche location when I happen to be in the area and I asked the manager what he knew about where one would find a large bow for the occaision (her company wanted one on the car at presentation time). So Porsche is loaning us a big red bow until after the party tomorrow! One more thing to cause me to recommend the Hoehn operation to anyone who asks. I just hope my wife survives the surprise of the car!

Retire? Isn't that when they lower you into a hole in the ground?

Infiniti is the car. Infinity is the place you never reach no matter how far you go.

Kendahl---I've been learning new and useful things on this site for over two years and now I've learned how to spell the name of the car that has been such a big event in our life! (not as big as the CS but that's another story). Thank you for the very appropriate correction. ed1

An example of infinity: my morning commute to work. There are electronic signs on the highway giving updated travel times to a major intersection near where I work. When I'm 15 miles out it says "30 minutes to I-610." When I'm 10 miles out "35 minutes to I-610." Within 5 miles "37 minutes to I-610." You get the idea. Houston traffic s****.

pmharth---you must be able to go on line in your car because obviously you never make it to I-610.

Yeah, the things I do for work! For the math minded the time-distance function is asymptotic (and drivers are psychotic).
