there was a Porsche Design booth at the Charlotte Parade, and I played with the cell phones... beautiful design, for sure... loved how the screen turns around the back to become the viewfinder for the camera... very impressive that it's carved out of a single block of aluminium... but it's big, heavy as a brick, and while it's a GSM phone, it's not 3g and only tri-band. Next to my Moto Krazr, it was like a Hummer (albeit a very stylish Hummer) next to my Honda Insight hybrid...

Personally I love my Porsche Phone, true it is not an iPhone (a big plus in my book btw) and it's just tri-band indeed I have an iPAQ for web access if I needed it. However, as a piece of engineering it is just so Porsche and I wouldn't be without it.

I liked the thumb reader option listen to my Rides that Rock interview with the woman from Porsche Design for more info on the phone... not cheap either, I seem to recall it was around $1600?
