Parker Shotgun

Typically I reserve my gun items/comments to other boards but this one is too good not to post . I know of several members who love Parker shotguns so here goes. My preference runs more toward Winchesters and Perazzis but I almost fell on my face when I saw this one. My friend and I bought a collection and this one is beyond my means for me to keep without selling my other stuff. This is one of the rarest shotguns that I have ever seen and it is NEW!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else ever seen a GHE with these options??

GHE 28 ga Paker-26" IC/MOD-(yes this is not a misprint-GHE) Pistol grip-beavertail forearm-ejectors-skeleton buttplate- single trigger-100% case color-99.999% condition-very possibly unfired. Late production. This is the rarest configuration of options that I have ever seen. To find this on a gun in this condition is unheard of. This gun came out of a very old extensive collection owned by a wealthy attourney. I wish I could keep her but she's gotta go
Asking price is 62,000
Blue Book is 70k and there is no listing for this condition
PM me for pics if interested

I know NOTHING about guns but your enthusiasm is sure high.....and so is the price. Though it seems from the blue book value you have it priced correctly....

All I can say is WOW......

BTW...do you know what year it was produced?

I know nothing about old shotguns either. But it sounds really neat. Could you post a picture? I would love to see what a 60 thousand dollar gun looks like.

Winchester, you might want to contact Dewings Online Store
I've had good success selling them Purdey's and H&Hs. They seem to be tapped into a constant supply of collectors, might be worth a shot.

Definitely post 1934- all the later serial numbers are lumped into that class- most likely 1942
There is a guy in Virginia who provides factory letters which will say for sure. Takes about a month to get it back.

Yes- I know them- Nice folks- in Ft Lauderdale I believe. They are very big on SO Berettas and Perazzis. If we can sell it outright everybody comes out better because they will price something like this into the stratosphere given the condition. If it hangs around long enough it will end up at one of those type of stores on consignment on the James Julia Auction. The guy who runs the show there is a personal longtime friend of mine. The only problem is that they have a fall auction in October and a spring auction in March. The catalouge has to be printed several months in advance. They take possesion of the gun which removes it from the market. On the upside- I have seen some stuff bring absoultely ridiculious money. They take 10 or 15%.
