Online Car Magaizine you can actually read

Driver's Republic - Corvette ZR1 2008

This is a fun site. The above link is one of their magazine articles. I found it a pleasure to read on my 23 inch LCD. The format was what impressed me, not anything to do with the ZR-1...although it looks interesting.

Enjoy.

Check out a Carrera S beating the GT-R in a drag race.

PDK is the real meal deal.

Too bad any and all suggestions for Alcantara on the interior got rejected by the fine folks at GM. It was almost as though they are ignoring that the Corvette has an interior.

I can't figure it out, people suggest Alcantara to GM, they leave it out of the 100K car, but decided to include it in their upcoming CTS-V.

It's like the people in GM have their heads stuck in their A$$ and keep asking why is it dark in here?

I'd prefer not to have Alcantara anywhere ex. the headliner. It looks/feels cool, but I imagine it's a PITA to clean.

It's not too bad to clean, but it does pill- especially on seats.

Wow, after watching the GTR haul a$$, I was surprised the 911 PDK pulled it off. Notice it lost on the 0-100 though.

Still, for me to want to own this car, the styling just doesn't add up. For me to love my car, I have to love its appearance. Something to do with the Y chromosome effect I believe.

Careful.... my wife constantly reminds me that the Y chromosome is just an X Chromosome with 25% missing ... and that, my friend, pretty much sums up everything
