A question might be, why a full percentage point more for the 997 series and much bigger for the TT?

Are they trying to make more of a separation in price between the 987 and 997? and if so, why?

Does the price increase reflect toward the options price too? Do it only apply to the base price of the Cayman S.

I just ordered the 08 CS. I was given a heads up by the dealership. But, they don't know how much is going to be at the time of the deal.

The price increase is smaller than the inflation rate. You can say that all Porsches will be more affordable than before.

I'd guess that the bigger increases for the Carreras is that they're probably selling better, which my sales guy anecdotally confirmed.

I have a July-build 08 car, too, and my negotiated price was a percentage off MSRP, whatever that may be, knowing that they could increase it. Fortunately, it's a Cayman, so no price increase!
