MotorTrend Magazine - 6 hours ago
The Porsche Cayman S Sport is scheduled to make its debut sometime next year, but as with all speculative reports, it's recommended the information be taken ...
Nothing leaked about it ... there is presently a full colour two page ad for the car in the current issue of EVO.

Err, umm, no ... I'm afraid, cos I did not buy the mag.
I assumed that the ad would be on Porsche's website by now, but curiously it isn't. The ad did however show an orange Cayman with black wheels, black mirrors, and black side engine vents. It has a black Cayman S graphic stripe, and suggested it had 303 bhp. It did not say much more than that.
Justt followed that Motor Trend link, and that indeed is the same car in their picture as I saw in the Porsche advert. Same details too, so I guess they were correct.
The Porsche Cayman S Sport is scheduled to make its debut sometime next year, but as with all speculative reports, it's recommended the information be taken with a grain of salt. Official details are expected to arrive once the final release information is hashed out by the powers that be at Porsche.

I find the timing very odd. Why introduce a new Gen I variant at the same time the Gen II car is being introduced? Also, what model year do you make it?
If this thing comes to the USA, I think it would have to be in the fall as an '09 model. If PAG isn't cool with that, then, if I were PCNA, I'd have to say 'No thanks'.
The other possibility is that the Gen II cars don't show up until next fall.
