How true that is. There is the time when you first see one to the point when you first buy one. I saw my first Porsche at 8 and I said to myself that I was going to get one, one day. Took me a little longer than 20 years, but i got one just the same. Absolute motivation to get yourself a good job and make money.

Reminds me of this one which got pulled shortly after it was introduced because someone complained that kids would do this. Pullleeeeaaaasssseeeee.

Robert, that 'vette ad is a masterpiece. That it was pulled is a testament to the dour, humorless, grim ghoulishness of the decisionmakers in the relevant legal departments.

That is one of my favorite car commercials. I find it very disappointing that they pulled it. It reminds me of how I feel when I drive a sports car

My parents asked me last year to go through all my old toys and either dispose of keep them. I found all of my Matchbox cars. It turns out that I had a 928 and an older 911 model. I found these just after I had ordered my CS but before I got it. I remember fondly playing with those cars making vroom vroom sounds. It took 30 years of hard work It may be the car making the vroom vroom sounds now, but I bet I have the exact same smile on my face now that I did back then.
