Come on guys, do you really think that Porsche would let something that ugly out on the street? I don't think so. How many of those panels are covering up the real thing?

Its camoflaged. Painted army green, with a fake spoiler and all glass and lights covered with film so you can't see the final shape.

Porsche will make sure this car looks great. There are some clear cues from the Cayman in there...

Spu photos of the Cayman looked terrible too.

I agree. Ugly. Ugly. It better have a low profile (i.e. PASM) and wide tires.

Agreed. Look at the body panels. They are not smooth and resemble a cottage cheese thigh. Both the tail and headlights are clearly disguised as is the grill. The spoiler is also clearly a decoy.

I think that the Panamera once it is released will look very different from this prototype. Porsche is not known for putting out sub-standard products. The final product in 2010 will not be ugly as this car is, it will undoubtedly be elegant.

Ofcourse its camoflaged, but shape is shape. I know it is not RTM car, but body proportions aren't so well. Presently it looks like SsangYong, KIA or other Hyundai.

911s (all of them) and Boxster/Cayman are beautiful, but I can't say that about Cayenne (even about "new" one, after facelifting) or future Panamera (hope it will look much much better).

If it comes out from Porsche factories, it is a true Porsche. So all that BS elitist and retarded "not true Porsche" has got to stop.

ANY Porsche owner who shuns another Porsche is simply not a true enthusiast.
Progress is what keeps companies alive.

Very few companies put that much RD and thought into cars as Porsche does. Panamera will be a great addition to the line-up. I am glad that Porsche is thinking about longevity and is expanding line of products.
If the timing is right, I will have my name on the title for one 1-2 years after it comes out.
