I would like to announce the first production photos of the GT2 and...I have no life

This probably has as much to do with the Cayman as the one blog that asks "How you Make Your Money" but I thought I would bring you guys the info on this car first since I am a devoted Porsche loyalist (and retiree at 17). Im not sure if anyone has noticed a car Magazine titled CAR (durrrr) in a bookstore near you but on there website Porsche 911 GT2 - First Official Pictures - Carmagazine.co.uk they have the first official pictures of the GT2.

That's the engine we should shoe-horn into the Cayman, forget the GT3 engine really, that much power out of 3.6 liters is astonishing. Growing up the 996 GT2 was my favorite car.

Aboogabooga are you really only 17 and retired or am I just reading that wrong?!? Are you a professional skate boarder or something?

Looks nice but Porsche keeps dumbing down the good models (GT3, GT2)...why all the electronics and plush features?
I've driven both a 996 GT2 and 996 GT3 along with a 997 GT3RS and the 996 GT3 is still, by far the most hardcore for a lap dog. The old GT2 was a bit more civilized (slighly less stiff suspension and raised ride height) but was still s track car for the street. This is just a faster Turbo...lets hope they've sorted the handling since the 997 TT is not so great around a track.
Thanks for the info!

You don't need a life; just keep putting cool stuff on this forum. Besides the CS, the GT 2 is the Porsche I would want if I could afford it.
