Question Please help me identify this car...

Hey guys, I have tried to find out information on this vehicle and have not been very successful... I don’t know a lot about Porsches so I have to come to you all for help.

Can you name the color and model of this car, or maybe you know of some more pictures...?

Thanks Corey w.

A 997 model 911. It is a GT3 variant of 911. The year is likely '07.

The car has a special color that is not a standard/off the shelf blend.

The car is gorgeous. I like the color.

Wow!

All the yellow GT3's out there and who would have thought that this one would make them nearly invisible. What a ballsy choice and how well it pays off in the finished result.

If that isn't the Champion Motorsports (911S - 997) car, then it's a very good takeoff. Model code is something like F77, which you can just see on the front of the rear fender. I think there was a feature on it in Excellence last year, and you can see it in some of the issues inside the front cover in a CMS ad with an armed forces guy and and F-15. I think the colour was 'Chile grey' or something very close to that. Good taste in colour - I loved it when I first saw it.

Hey - I just took a relook at the picture and lo and behold it's taken at CMS (you can see there sign in the background) so my above guesstimate is probably correct. Just did a google on F77 and found some really nice screensavers on 'seriouswheels.com'.
