What are they up too?

This evening at 1030 PM I was driving some back roads about 40 miles north of Detroit putting some miles on my new CS. I caught up to a car in the other lane and noticed that is was a Boxster S, as I passed him there were two debadged 911's in front of him. All three cars had Michigan Manufacturers Plates on them...I wonder what they were doing? Had they been PCNA cars I would have thought that they would have Georgia Mfr plates. Maybe one of the other mfr's here was doing some comparisons? Any ideas?

Porsche has an engineering facility in Michigan, they probably belonged to that facility and they were out testing something is my guess.

Probably a good guess. I didn't know that they had any facilities here.

Taking the badges off the cars won't fool anyone. Couldn't it just have been three friends maybe coming back from a night out together? I wouldn't read anything more into it, especially at that time of night.

All three cars had Manufacturer Plates on them, you have to be an automobile manufactures to get them. Definitely not buddies cruising.
