Does 911 have desnork problem as well? Where does the 911 ait intake breath?

I noticed that besides the turbo, the 911 does not have a sill opening for the ait intake like the cayman, which leads me to my question - through which opening does the air go into the intake?

In addition, if it does not have a sill like the cayman, does it mean it the intake system works the same way as a cayman without desnork(ie. being closed up)?

Any knowledgeable 911 fans out there?

The 911 'Breathes' in through it's Behind -

Well assisted with the airflow passing the top rear louvres.

This is because the Engine /Transmission is Reversed from our beloved Cayman.

Not the same as a Cayman at all................. in fact.

the sills on the turbo are to channel air through the intercoolers.

I'll bet that most of the Cayman owners among the 9,800 "members" registered here have NOT removed the impact plate.

After I helped a friend desnork and we found absolutely no performance improvement (although it did add some minimal intake noise) I didn't waste my time to do mine; easy or not.

Reading posts from the vocal minority of those registered who actually post may give false impressions. Look at the often heated "to desnork or not" threads and you'll find support either way, but the fact is the total number of different posters is insignificant.
